Back in the 60s & 70s there were a lot of self-help
books that were quite popular. I read several of
them and they seemed to help me feel better about
life and it seemed to make me think I could become a
better person. How to win Friends and Influence People,
Think and Grow Rich and The Power of Positive
Thinking by Morman Vincent Peele were some of the
most notable ones. This song samples the Personal Motivation
7-inch record of Pep-Talks and motivational platitudes
by Paul J. Meyer of The Success Motivation Institute
in Waco, Texas 1965.
